SEMANTICS - relating to meaning in language or logic.
A project I'm toying with to experiment with juxtaposing visual alternative with a meaningful word. The juxtaposition of the positive color arrangement of this print jars the mind with the meaning of the word 'fuck.' They playful quality disarms the words intensity. And using ordinary objects as the delivery mechanism...t-shirts, mugs, pillows...placing these items within an everyday context. The exhibit lives on in the homes of users. |
